Geauga 4-H 5K Race and 1K Fun WalkSunday, September 1, 2024 - 8:00 AM
The 5k course starts at the fair grandstands, winds through beautiful & historical Burton Ohio, and ends at the fair grandstand. Race Perks include:
5k Start Time: 8:00 AM Fun Run Start Time: 8:15 AM Registration Fee: $25 by August 21st ($35 afterward) |
Natural Resource Area Program Schedule for 2024
Open daily 11:00 a.m.– 7:00 p.m. with youth fishing beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Educational Demonstrations and Activities as follows:
11:00 Natural Resource Area opens
12:00-2:00 Youth fishing-Division of Wildlife
12:30 “Let’s talk turkey” - National Wild Turkey Federation
1:30 "Trapping; it's role in OH wildlife management" - Ohio State Trappers
2:00-3:00 Cooking Demonstration-Division of Wildlife
2:30 "Stream Detectives"- Geauga Soil & Water Conservation District
3:00-5:00 Youth fishing Division of Wildlife
3:30 “Monarch’s on the move” - Geauga Park District
4:00 “The Dogs That Make A Splash” - Buckeye Retrievers
5:30 “Taste of Maple” - Maple Producers of NE Ohio
6:00 “The Dogs That Make A Splash” - Buckeye Retrievers
5:00 Fishing ends
7:00 Natural Resource Area Closed
Presentations on the half hour located at their facility around the lake and presentations on the hour located at the pavilion.
